Possible Arena Restrictions
I've noticed lately that tons of people have been using elite skills and late game armor in the Ascalon and other lvl 10 arenas. The armor isn't so much a problem, but with enough attribute points in the attribute of the elite skill, it becomes really cheap. All the arenas, especially the early arenas, should be based on skill, not how far you can get runs and caps with your money. Basically, I'd suggest rules banning the use of elites in the lvl 10 (and possibly lvl 15) arena(s).

Hmm, interesting.
This must be a new exploit, that a few ingenious players came up with.
Why am I having beta and pre-launch flashbacks?
This has been an issue since before GW launched. It's not new, it's not gamebreaking, it's just a way for some poor kiddies to win, since they can't compete on even ground. This way, some of them get some cheap wins, while many of them die a fast and horrible death.
All suggestions on how this might be fixed have been proposed at least 19 months ago, but as of yet, it mattered little.
With incredibly increased leveling, those arenas are just a little fun distraction, that serve little long-term purpose.

I find it quite annoying that people will bring elite skills into those arenas. I try to have fun with my low-level characters in Ascalon arena and such, 'cause I can't afford runs to droks or "power levelling" and this really ticks me off. This getting elites into the early arenas ruins it. It's a way for richer characters to basically say they're sick of not being able to hold their own in HA or other Balthazar faction places and say since there are other people that have less money, they rock. But they don't.

Well I generally get the skills (not the elites) by getting the skills through the PvP guy or from a character further in the game then the skills will pop up or should at a skill trainer nearby. Also I get a run to Yak's since it's not that far and buy the armor there. Then I usually put the smackdown on the people who I like to call the "cheaters". But generally those guys are not hard to beat.
ADDED:
Here's an example. I had a lvl 7 warrior with the Yak's Bend Gladiator armor. An axe with only 3 attacking skills. (Executioner's Strike, Cyclone axe, and Disrupting Chop). And then obviously healing signet and sprint and other essentials. I beat this lvl 10 warrior with the knight's armor and Hundred Blades (elite) 5 times until he finally decided to bring shield stance which I wasn't ready for. But just use your brains a little and you can defy any enemy.

Try defying 2 echo life transfer necros with each having 5 other life-stealing spells. Then come talk to me about easy.
And the yaks armor is exactly the same as the Ascalon armor with the exception of one extra armor /type./
